This summer, visitors to the Lunt can craft their own wheeled horse toy, based on a Roman example from 2000 years ago and take it for a canter around the fort! All materials are provided.

You will also be able to explore this unique reconstructed fortress, taking in the sites of the ramparts (which will be undergoing some exciting renovations), the granary building and the world’s only known Gyrus inside a Roman fort!
